Over the past year, a steady stream of security updates have been released for Adobe products. Security vendor McAfee predicts that in 2010, exploits of Adobe products will likely surpass those of Microsoft Office.

End of security updates for Mac OS X 10.4

Security Update 2009-005, released September 2009, marked the end of comprehensive security updates for Mac OS X 10.4. Mac OS X 10.4 users are strongly advised to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6, after taking appropriate steps to ensure compatibility, to continue coverage with Apple's ongoing security updates.
